Greetings. This is my first blog. Yipee.
It is my birthday tomorrow. I find that birthdays are a good time to reflect – if nothing else they act as a marker of where you were and what you were doing a year, five, or ten years ago.
Last year at this time, my house had just caught fire and I was staying with the Michael and Kelly (an awesome couple whose wedding I was photographing when my house went up in flames). Kelly’s sister made me the most amazing cake (tres leches) for my birthday. And while it was a trying time in my life, that day ended up being a truly fantastic day and wonderful birthday.
Here is a picture of Kelly, Michael, and the groomsmen.
They had such amazing people at the wedding – artist, musicians, and all sorts of other creative types.
And then there were the dogs.
